Code 128 or Code 39 Barcode Image
Code 128 or Code 39 barcodes are used for asset labels; SKUs/stock-keeping; library barcodes; vouchers etc (they are not used for retail products). Please add to cart and then proceed to checkout. When you get to the checkout page please enter the data you want us to encode (e.g. DR2039) into the “additional information” section, and let us know what size you want (e.g. 45mm wide x 30mm high). We will send the barcode images to you in 5 different formats (jpeg, tiff, pdf, eps, bmp).

Pallet Barcodes
Pallet barcodes are used on the pallet packaging. Hence if you are not sending product by pallet, you may not need pallet barcodes. In this case, you may need an ITF-14 carton code instead.
Pallet barcodes are mainly required by larger retailers, particularly supermarkets or any other company using a large distribution centre such as Mcdonalds’.
Pallet barcodes are typically needed as a pair of barcodes; a GS128 and an SSCC.
Sometimes you may need a new SSCC for a new pallet code, as you already have the GS128 barcode for that stock.
The GS128 barcode encodes multiple data, such as a product’s expiry dates, batch number, quantity, and EAN or UPC number.
The SSCC barcode is a unique number. Retailers use the SSCC to identify each pallet in their distribution centre or warehouse.

GS1 Application Identifiers (AIs) are numeric prefixes used in barcodes and EPC/RFID tags to define the meaning and format of encoded data elements.
Some of the most commonly used AIs are:

01 – GTIN
10 – Batch number

37 – Number of Units (Count)

Buy QR Codes
This service is automated so that you can buy a QR Code, and you will receive your QR code images in minutes. We need the URL or other information you wish encoded into the QR code to do this. Automation cannot make the QR code if you don’t supply it.Decide how many QR codes you need, and add that quantity to the cart. Then, on the checkout page, enter the data or URL you want encoded into the “additional information” box, with separate URLs on separate lines. Standard QR codes (Static and Dynamic) are made automatically and emailed to you within minutes. More complex QR codes, such as v-business cards, must be made manually and take 1-12 hours. V business cards can only be made static.

DYNAMIC QR Codes
These use our Dynamic QR Code service (via URL hosting service), which enables the target URL to be changed repeatedly in the future if required.
Unlimited scans: Scans of the Dynamic QR Code are UNLIMITED so long as you don’t abuse the QR code with millions of scans that cause technical problems such as crashed servers. Please see our fair use policy.
Functions for life: Will function for two years. Then, it will continue to function after that for as long as you pay a hosting fee every two years.
FREE unlimited redirection of the target URL: On initial purchase, you specify a target URL. After that you can redirect your dynamic QR code via our website portal at any time day or night.
Lifetime tracking: Need to see how often, time of day, most popular day and which country your QR codes are being scanned? Order a dynamic QR code, and we can supply TRACKING REPORTS.

Printing Tips for QR Codes
- Ensure lots of contrast. The optimum is black and white. Please watch our short video on colour.
- Avoid highly reflective labels.
- Spend some time deciding where to place the QR code.
- Check the size before printing (remember the bigger the QR code, the further away the person scanning needs to stand)
- Test, test, test your QR code before the final print. We recommend testing on different phones.

V Business Card (QR Code)
This service is not automated. We make these manually. To be able to do this, we need all the information you wish encoded into the QR code.
Decide how many QR codes you need, and add that quantity to the cart. Then at the checkout page, enter the data you want encoded into the “additional information” box on the checkout page. We will make these in 1-12 hours.

Business Cards (VCards)
These types of QR Codes are primarily used on business cards. When a business card QR Code is scanned by a smartphone, an individual’s business card details will appear on the Smartphone screen. The Smartphone user will then be able to save the individual as a ‘Contact’ on their phone.
