GTIN Barcodes

GTIN Barcodes (Global Trade Item Number) are any type of barcode used for retail purposes. This is a term used largely by GS1 and can refer to a variety of different barcodes.

The term GTIN is normally followed by a number. The number refers to the number of digits in the barcode. For example, a GTIN-13 is an EAN-13 barcode.
